I grew up in a small farming town, and came from a big family. I was given my first camera when I was 6 and I have been hooked ever since! I have been doing photography on a professional level since the fall of 2009, and I love every minute of it.
I am a proud mother of 2 great kids, and I was lucky enough to find the one man that completes me the way no one else ever could early in my life. We have been inseparable since '02! We have had our bumps, like everyone does, but we are still going strong!
The thing I love most about being a photographer is being able to help people freeze moments, even some that may seem small and insignificant at the time, and preserve them for a later time. You never know what parts of your life you will miss until you don't have them anymore, so catching every moment possible is key. My favorite kind of shots are candid, you can catch the essence of a person in just a few shots, and its such an amazing thing! Out of the sessions I have done to date the candid shots are generally the favorites. Working with natural lighting is also very intriguing. There are so many things you can catch with natural light that you can not match with studio lighting.
In addition to doing photography, I am also pursuing my Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Arts.
